We were delighted to visit our local arts charity 'Rising Tide' and to meet Paul Ryan, CEO and Adi Paton, Project Coordinator to donate IT equipment.

We love Rising Tide's mission to make the creative industries more accessible to the local people of Hackney.

The team at Rising Tide help young people access the music and related industries, via workshops, masterclasses and professional facilities in their creative hub as well as provide professional support, tutelage and mentoring, which adheres to current industry best practices and technological advances.

Rising Tide also provides a creative space and facilities for the local community of Hackney, including a podcast studio available to hire, a plug-in music studio and a rehearsal space with PA that local musicians can hire.

Adam Ciwinski (pictured), IT Apprendice at Logixal commented: 'It was really good to see people in the Hackney community helping the younger generation develop their skills"

Adi Paton, Project Coordinator at Rising Tide commented " Thank you again for the screens, I’ve just finished setting them up and they look fantastic. The kids are enjoying them at the moment in our main studio. We had a load of issues with our previous screens not working, so your timing couldn’t have been better. Thanks so much for the extra screen for the DJ Studio, really appreciated, they are all working great so far."

Mandeep Kandola (pictured), Managing Director at Logixal commented 'It was great to meet Paul and Adi and learn more about how they support the creative talent in our local community of Hackney. It's a fantastic space and it's our pleasure to donate some kit to support them with their mission. It was great to hear the stories about how they could spot talent straight away in the likes of Alexandra Burke, and Leona Lewis (both were mentored by Rising Tide) and and its testimony to the difference they make and the impact they have ."
