Environmental Impact and Green Initiatives
It's no accident that our logo is green...
It illustrates our approach to print management and our commitment to being eco-friendly and eco responsible.
We actively work to encourage customers to print in a more environmentally sound manner and help to reduce or mitigate against their carbon footprint.
The Xerox Green World Alliance is a valuable recycling program that minimises the environmental impacts of printers suppliers and provides options to throwing away empty cartridges or used parts.
The program has kept thousands of tons of supplies out of landfills and Xerox lead the industry in providing alternatives for used supplies, including print cartridge reprocessing, waste toner reuse, plastics and metals recovery and turning waste into energy.
Trees for Cities are an independent charity which inspires people to plant and love trees worldwide. Established in 1993, Trees for Cities creates social cohesion and beautifies our cities through tree planting, community-led design, education and training initiatives in urban areas that need it most.
We actively work with Trees for Cities’, we encourage and fund the practise of planting new trees in urban areas to limit the environmental impact of our solution. This way, Logixal and our clients can be safe in the knowledge that they are ‘giving something back’.
We follow strict ethical trading and equal opportunities policies and operates a no-tolerance policy towards any form of discrimination. Our effective IT Security Policy has clearly defined aims and objectives. We also comply with the WEEE directive.
We continually assess how we can reduce the amount of waste we produce and offer our clients a cartridge recycling facility.
As a HP Partner we recognise the importance of the environment well live in as well as how big of an issue this is. HP are fantastic conversationalists of the environment and many of their printers are designed to minimise waste and power usage.
HP offer a recycling program that makes all of its toner cartridges out of 100% recycled plastic. All these conservation efforts are important and you can decide whether this is something you want to partake in.
