    Main Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the teams' workloads and ensuring there is a focus on the ownership, prioritisation, and urgency of issues.
    • Establish and maintain an excellent relationship with key stakeholders
    • Assist your line manager to develop individuals and implement learning interventions to reach the required standard whilst supporting personal development aspirations
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and idea generation, encouraging the team to contribute to improving the ways of working, sharing best practice.
    • Responsible for managing the service desk operations to ensure client requests are logged and managed by the service team within SLA and to a high level of satisfaction.
    • Supporting the business in establishing and maintaining an organised, structured, and well-managed business unit
    • Perform follow up on the customer satisfaction results
    • Oversee and provide (where appropriate) daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance and customer satisfaction

    The Financial Accounts Assistant needs to provide admin and financial support to the Finance Department. The role covers all aspects of administrative support including:

    • Chasing Aged Debt
    • Purchase Ledger activities including invoice Nominal Coding and Posting of invoices
    • Supplier Statement reconciliations to ensure ledgers are kept up to date
    • Processing of supplier payments Processing/Reconciling Direct Debit transactions
    • Assisting with the Sales Ledger – raising of manual invoices as necessary
    • Nominal Ledger Reconciliations
    • Analysis and processing of expenses claims
    • Analysis and processing of credit card payments & Reconciling of Monthly Credit Card Statement
    • Ability to analyze data and generate reports on a weekly/monthly basis on both sales and purchase ledgers
    • Producing reports in excel of customer/supplier activity and using that data to generate invoices/management information as necessary.

    In addition, from time to time, you may be asked to undertake other tasks and responsibilities not covered above in order to achieve project or corporate objectives.

    Essential Skills

    • A desire to work in an accounts department and to develop their skill set with a view to taking on more responsibility in the future and to grow with the business.
    • Prior experience working on Purchase and Sales ledgers - Minimum 2 years.
    • Excellent MS Office and Excel skills.
    • Hardworking and dedicated individual with very good numerical skills.
