IDC positions Xerox as a leader for security solutions and services
IDC has acknowledged Xerox as a leader in the first IDC MarketScape, Worldwide Security Solutions and Services Hardcopy 2017 Vendor Assessment report. Amongst other highlights, the report recognised Xerox's ConnectKey-enabled devices as among the best-in-class for addressing endpoint security risks and providing protection from internal and external cyber threats.
The challenges of today's print environment
With the increasing complexity of the print environment, such as mobile and cloud-based workflows, businesses are looking to secure the entire document infrastructure and protect business-critical information. However IDC's research suggests that for most organisations print security solutions and services initiatives lag well behind overall IT security.
Xerox's methodology to protect that environment
Xerox's methodology for securing the print and document environment is based on a layered approach, building up from the device level and expanding deeper into the customer's applications and IT infrastructure.
Meet customer needs regardless of company size and industry
According to the IDC MarketScape report, "Xerox offers one of the industry's broadest managed print services (MPS) programs with various entry points, which means it can provide access to secure printing solutions and services that are tailored to meet customer needs regardless of company size and vertical industry."
"The evolving print environment represents a great opportunity for our channel partners." said Hervé Chauveau, VP Workplace Solutions & Marketing, Xerox. "IDC's recognition of Xerox as a security leader complements the range of new ConnectKey-enabled machines, a rapidly expanding portfolio of workflow solutions and enhancements to our managed print services offerings. As well as helping existing customers adapt to these new challenges, our partners can use the strength of the Xerox offering for proactive new customer acquisition."
