Great leaders remain dedicated to growth whether that be for a company, their teams or even their own personal skills and abilities. The best leaders are those who are committed to seeing growth and positive progression.
2.) Prioritise The Team
Great leaders are always concerned with and motivated by helping, supporting and developing their people. They take ownership of their team members and feel responsible for them on a professional level. This means that they become advocates for those they manage, truly great leaders create new leaders.
3.) Give Credit Where it's Due
Great leaders always assign credit appropriately. They don't swipe the glory for the creative ideas of others and they don't sacrifice their team members of their shortcomings. Great leaders are balanced in accepting glory and celebrating the achievements of others.
4.) Opt Out Of Uncomfortable Situations
Much of leadership is about courage and the best leaders demonstrate this through taking on challenges that intimidate others. A great leader doesn't use their position to opt out of an uncomfortable situation. Instead they shoulder the burden and use their position and the power it comes with to establish the correct solutions.
