The lawyer must securely scan the request for information documents and automatically convert them into a Word format before routing them to the appropriate client folder. This enables better collaboration and review in a Microsoft Word format with full text search capability of the document content, if needed.
Our Lawyer has several requests for information documents from the opposing counsel to process. They walk up to the Multi-Function Printer and simply swipes their ID badge to ensure security and privacy of data is enforced at the firm.
They choose the “Scan to SharePoint” workflow and selects conversion to Microsoft Word.
They browse the clients SharePoint folder, quickly enters the new file name and presses the scan button.
Now the file is readily available in the correct SharePoint folder and the legal team members can easily access the document to complete the task at hand. This has all accomplished without re-typing the document. Saving our Lawyer, the team and the firm time.
